November 2020 Update

It’s been said a million times: 2020 has been a tough, weird year. Thankfully, because of our awesome community of people like you, we’ve managed to hang on while some of our other small business friends have had to close their doors. We had some big challenges this year like having to postpone our very first Phoenix Oddities Expo, closing the shop during lockdown, suspending our taxidermy classes with Frank James Taxidermy, Chat with a Coroner, Still Life & Death, and figure out how to safely navigate running a brick and mortar shop during a global pandemic. After all that, we’re still hanging on.

We’ve got some new faces at the shop, too. Rosa, Jaycee, and Mary have been such a big help and have been working hard to get us back on track and organized. We’re working diligently to maintain a clean, safe environment for you guys. I’m so thankful for their help as we head into the holiday season, which is crucial for small businesses like us.

If you haven’t been to the shop in a while, you would probably be surprised by how much we’ve grown. We have expanded our inventory and have found so many great new treasures for you. We’re bursting at the seams. Because of this and social-distancing protocols, we’ve had to limit the number of customers in the shop to 6 at a time. You can read more about our COVID policy here. If you’ve ever been here during holiday shopping, you have seen how busy we can get. To make your holiday shopping easier and avoid a wait to explore the shop, we encourage you to check out our updated website and make your purchases online. We have a special gift for anyone who chooses local pick up on purchases over $40.

Thank you in advance to for your support and helping to minimize COVID risk to our staff and customers!
