If you aren't already familiar with the neighborhood, the Melrose District is the stretch of road on 7th Avenue between Indian School and Camelback. The street has gotten a few nicknames throughout the years such as “The Curve” for its winding nature in an otherwise gridded city and the "Gayborhood" due to the amount of LGBTQ bars on the strip.
