Description
Ever watched Bones and wished you could do that job?
Join us on Saturday, August 1st from 1-3:30pm for this hands-on class to learn the human skeleton through the science of human osteology. This beginner class will teach you to identify and side bones, apply basic methods to estimate age and sex, and explore the role of human osteology in archaeology and forensic settings.
Taught by Brittany McClain from Desert Sage Osteology, this class draws on 16 years of experience working with burials and human remains. Whether you're fascinated by archaeology, forensic anthropology, or true crime, you'll gain an understanding of the past through bones and what they can tell us. Instruction will use replica skeletons and not real human remains.
