Now Sprouting at Curious Nature!

Our shop is busting at the seams with so much luscious green! We dedicated time last week to filling up our plant corner and now our tables and hanging racks are overflowing with beautiful new foliage friends. If you’ve been thinking about taking the plunge into plant parentage or adding another sprout to your established shelves, now is the perfect time 🌿

Let’s take a look at some of our favorites! First up, we have the ideal low-maintenance desert dweller, the Jade Plant (Crassula ovata). This succulent beauty can handle dry air, infrequent watering, and low light like a champ, but they really shine when they can soak up that summer sun. Their tips turn red from adequate exposure, giving them an almost otherworldly look.

Next up, the Swiss Cheese Plant (Monstera adansonii). More compact than its famous cousin, Monstera deliciosa, this fenestrated wonder won’t demand you sacrifice too much of your floor space to keep it happy. They prefer to grow up, rather than out, so giving them something to climb will benefit you both. With enough time and love, it could even tower over you!

This last plant has a bad reputation for being dramatic, but we prefer to think of it as being great at communicating its needs. The Nerve Plant (Fittonia albivenis) has striking veins on all of its leaves and comes in a wide variety of color combinations. As with all plants, sun really helps them thrive, but they’re adaptable to various lighting conditions. Just give them a drink when their leaves are feeling soft, and they’ll repay you with gorgeous growth.

And if plants aren’t your thing, how about some stickers? This is your last reminder that our June fundraiser is happening until the end of June! Purchase any of our stickers before July 1st to donate to The Queer Center. You can help our local community, one sticker at a time. Or, you can donate to them directly here 🩷
