Join us Saturday, February 29th from 9:00am - 3:00pm as award winning taxidermist Doug James of Frank James Artistry creates a shoulder mount of a coues deer.

Locally referred to as the Arizona whitetail, coues (pronounces “cows”) deer are a Southwest subspecies of the common Eastern whitetail.

During this seminar, you will learn the art and process of taxidermy mounting. Doug will show his experienced methods for creating a coues shoulder mount as well as give insider knowledge of where to purchase materials to create your own such as tanning products, foam mounts, eyes, etc. 

Doug’s personality makes for a very entertaining seminar, so you won’t want to miss this! 

Attendees are welcome to bring snacks, beverages with a lid, and note-taking materials.
